Rotrix Africa manufactures a full range of water-powered, linear travelling irrigation systems at their factory in Worcester, South Africa to suit most farming irrigation requirements and crops.

The larger Rainmaker Agriculture models can be ordered to accommodate 300m, 250m and 200m run, while the smaller units are better suited for smaller lands, sports field and golf courses.

IRRIGATION SUGAR CANE IN TANZANIA – A RECENT SUCCESS STORY

Rotrix Africa is proud to be part of the success story of a large Sugar Cane farm in Tanzania and will soon have more than a 100 of our Rotrix Rhino 300 Cane Master Irrigation units irrigating their sugar cane.

The Cane Master units are lightweight and very mobile ideal for quick and easy irrigation of new and existing cane fields supplementing rainfall during the dry months increasing yields.

Each unit can travel 600m per 24hr day covering an area of 3.6 ha. Each run is 300m long and the radius is 40 m at an operating pressure of 4,5 Bar.

The units can be handled by the staff without the need for tractors once the units are on the sugar cane fields. A team of 5-6 staff can manage 4 units which will cover up to 100 ha per 7 days week.
