Cherry Irrigation specialises in the design and implementation of all types of agricultural irrigation systems. Our experience spans 30 years and is supported by our willingness to stay up to date with new methods and technology.
Cherry Irrigation was founded in 1987 by Peter Cherry with the initial focus on irrigation design. Peter’s son, Charles, joined the company in 1992 and added more automation and turnkey-type projects to the mix.
We’ve worked with a whole variety of different agricultural businesses throughout Southern Africa.

Greenhouse project, Lebombo, Wellington
We designed and installed the Irrigation and climate control equipment utilising mainly Netafim/NMC Products.
Multispan Tunnel Project, Hoopenberg, Muldersvlei
We designed and installed the control room, infield irrigation, roof water collection and drainage collection.
Africado, Tanazania – Installation of a trial block of blueberries
We set out a trial block and gave training on irrigation scheduling on different media.
